Join
Tim Doud, Clinician & John Lyons Certified Trainer,
for a magical and very educational experience during a Wilderness
Trail
Riding Clinic.
Our Pack-in Clinics are All-Inclusive
and are held during the months of July
and August. Just like our Summer Family Vacations, our Clinics can
be five (5), six (6) or seven (7) days in length and
we
can accommodate
up to eight riders. South of Cody, Wyoming, the Clinic
site is
located 22 miles into the Washakie Wilderness adjoining the
southeastern boundary of Yellowstone National Park. The trek
requires an 8-hour Horse or Mule ride.
Tim offers a very structured
and professional educational experience, with instruction from
9AM to 4PM each day of your trip. During the clinic, every
rider is learning in the "real world", on the Wilderness Trail.
Tim discusses and teaches clients how to improve their relationship
with their
equine, gain respect on the ground and in the saddle and helps
riders solve problems and issues from start to finish!
Tim's clinics are also very personalized.
During your first evening in Camp, Tim holds a round-table discussion
to determine what the participants want
to learn. The clinic is then taylored to those requests.
Tim takes pride in teaching and
training using the gentle methods of World-Renowned trainer John
Lyons.
Your Clinician,
Tim Doud, has been training mules for nearly 15 years. Certified
by John Lyons in 2006, Tim has continued to train, encourage
and teach mules and
mule owners throughout the United States.
Tim also writes monthly training
articles for Mules & More Magazine, is
past-President
of The North American Saddle Mule Association (NASMA) and was awarded the 2004 Leading Breeder Award by NASMA.
